What is Skills For Work? Training for those in the workplace All courses are free to people who are in full- time employment, part-time employment or are self-employed The program is very flexible - classes would be set-up to suit company and participants All courses are FETAC accredited; Level 3

Courses Available All courses available are at FETAC Level 3: These include: – Computers – Communications – Customer Care – Numeracy – Office Skills – Child Development & Play – Caring For Children – Telephone Techniques

Computers Course Outline: Introduction to Word Information Technology Internet & E-Mail Searching Online Online Form Filling 35 hours: 3 hours a week, 12 weeks.

Communications Course Outline: Learn to Learn Non-Verbal Communication Personal Interaction Reading & Writing Media Awareness & Visual Communication Introduction to Information Technology 35 hours: 12 weeks ( 3 hrs per week )

Customer Care Course Outline: Good Customer Practice Responding to Complaints Understanding Consumer Protection Laws Handling Customer Behaviours Teamwork Understanding Attitudes & Perception 35 hours: 12 weeks ( 3 hrs per week )
