Three Steps towards Success 1.Proposals need to demonstrate academic excellence: - Describe the theoretical basis for your proposed research. - Describe how you will build on previous research. - How will your research contribute to global knowledge? 2.Build and support partnerships: - Involve developing country researchers as full partners in projects. - Build multidisciplinary teams (when appropriate). - Build capacity (where needed to deliver the research). 3.Build pathways to development impact: - Describe how research excellence will be turned into development results. - Identify who will build impact and explain how you will support them. - Define how you will communicate and evaluate impact.
