Presented by: Strategic Result Area  Planning is predicated on three Key Strategic Result Areas to orientate the delivery of Justice Services: –Access to Justice for all: Rural/township, Poor/uneducated, women, children, the elderly, the disabled –Modernise Justice resources and processes to ensure efficiency –(Constitutional) Transform Justice, State & Society

Presented by: Balanced Scorecard  The Department is developing a Balanced Scorecard approach –to ensure monitoring and evaluation  The Balanced Scorecard presentation gives the priorities snapshot, –the detail will be supplied by the presentations of the DDGs Court Services, Master of the High Court will concentrate on services rendered directly to the public to meet customer needs in ensuring access to justice ISM, HR, CFO, PEC are concerned with providing resources and processes that are necessary to deliver efficient justice services Legal Advisory Services, Legislation Services, Constitutional Development and the SA Legal Reform Commission are concerned with mechanisms of Transforming Justice, State & Society
