1 1.Read entire task before beginning. 2.Choose one picture of a Native American group on your table. 3.Start with a Circle Map and write everything that comes to mind when you look at the picture. 4.Using the modified Write from the Beginning outline, organize your thoughts into 3 paragraphs about what you see happening in the picture. You can use your notes about this Native American tribe to help with content specific vocabulary and traditions. 5.Write a rough draft using your completed outline. 6.Once your rough draft is complete, use the Dictionary app to check spelling. Use the Thesaurus app to make 3 of your words more vivid. 7.Revise your paper. Check your facts and descriptive details. 8.Write your final draft on paper to turn in. Start with Circle Map saved to your desktop and type everything that comes to mind when you look at the pictures. http://www.safesearchkids.com 3.Using the modified Write from the Beginning outline on your desktop, organize your thoughts into 3 paragraphs about what you see happening in the picture. 4 Moving Pictures 1.Read entire task before beginning. 2.Choose a Native American tribe from your notes to write about. 3.Start with Circle Map saved to your desktop and type everything that comes to mind when you think of that tribe. 4.Using the modified Write from the Beginning outline on your desktop, organize your thoughts into 3 paragraphs about what you think is most important for others to know about the tribe. You can use your notes about this Native American tribe to help with content specific vocabulary and traditions. 5.Type your rough draft in Microsoft Word. 6.Once your rough draft is complete use the spell and grammar check to edit your paper. Read through your rough draft to check for complete sentences. 7.Revise your paper. Check your facts and descriptive details. 8.Print out your final draft. 9.Using an iPad you will make an iMovie. Find pictures using http://www.safesearchkids.com that give a visual of what you wrote about your tribe. Once you find the pictures, save them to Photos. http://www.safesearchkids.com 10.Open iMovie and start a new movie. You will upload the pictures you have saved to Photos in the order your wrote about the tribe. Once the pictures are uploaded go back to the beginning and read your paper as a voice over of the photos. 11.Name and save your iMovie. Log into Blackboard and post your iMovie to the iMove Discussion Board. 12.Choose 1 video to watch from another class. Reply to their post with comments questions.
