4. Project Objectives The overall objective: Poverty reduction in the context of sustainable development, including the pursuit of the health related MDGs

Project Objectives Specific Objective: T o empower non-state actors to address regional and social disparities in mother and child health, nutrition and family planning through health related poverty reduction initiatives targeting populations and geographic areas that are out of reach of development mainstream and excluded from policy-making processes.

22. Eligibility -1 Applicant: Who may apply? - Legal persons - Non profit making -Nationals of Kenya or EU MS - Local NSA: registered at least 2 yrs - EU NSA : registered at least 3 yrs - Partnership - Local NSA : minimum 1 local partner - EU NSA : minimum 2 local partners

23. Eligibility - 2 Eligibility of Partners: - NSA: must satisfy same criteria as applicant Eligibility of others : Associates: do not have to meet the same eligibility criteria as applicants and partners. Sub-contractors: are subject to procurement rules set out in Annex IV.
