Research Strategy & Aims The ABS RS aims to provide the management & measurement mechanisms required to achieve the challenging Aston University’s research objectives and to ensure significant contribution to the Aston 2020 Strategy. It is an on- going strategy and its aims will be regularly updated. Aims Ensure sustainability and strengthening of our research profile and research base capability; Build up an interactive, collegiate and rigorous research culture; Enhance available research support for faculty; An integration of our research findings into our teaching; Attract high quality doctoral researchers; Achieve a high-level outcome from REF 2013/14.
