CASE STUDY Client: PBG, TracyLocke Objective: Maximize consumer awareness and involvement with Circle K Convenience Stores; provide account specific overlay to key convenience store customers to maximize Pepsi volume. Tactic: In-Store Instant Win Game Mechanics: Pepsi Dash for Cash Instant Win Game, a tie-in with Circle K Convenience stores. Consumers received a game piece when they purchased a qualifying Pepsi product at any of the participating Circle K stores. The game featured Pepsi discounts and racing ticket discounts as lower level prizes. Grand Prizes: 5 winners received trips to the Pepsi 400 in Daytona, where each got to grab as much cash as possible in 30 seconds in the provided “cash bubbles”.

CASE STUDY Client: Cramer-Krasselt Objectives: To increase brand awareness, website traffic, and encourage purchase. Tactics: Social Media Marketing and Sweepstakes Mechanics: During the promotion period, consumers were instructed to visit www.KILZCleanStart.com, click on the promotional link and complete the online registration form. After registration, the consumer could receive up to 5 entries in the Sweepstakes using either Twitter or a participating blog. Entry required consumers to post one status update or comment explaining what they would re-do with $500. One entry was earned each time a post was made. www.KILZCleanStart.com Prizes: Grand Prize (5): $500 Wal-Mart gift card

CASE STUDY Client: Jackson Spalding Communications and The Gretsch Company Objectives: To celebrate its 125 th anniversary by identifying the world’s next generation of Gretsch artists. Tactic: Online UGC Contest Mechanics: Unsigned artists visited www.gretsch125th.com to submit an mp3 file of the song of their choice. From those submissions, ten finalists were selected by popular online voting. An expert panel that selected the grand, first and second prizewinners judged those ten finalists. Prizes: Grand Prize Winner performed live at Gretsch’s 125th Anniversary Concert in New York City as part of an illustrious lineup of “Gretsch Greats” and won a full rack of great Gretsch gear. 1 st Prize winner received enough gear to “Gretsch their garage. 2 nd Prize winner received $1,250 in Gretsch- product gift certificates to help them take their sound to the next level.
