3. PORT OF TACOMA The Combined Habitat Project is designed to fulfill regulatory obligations driven by Port business needs. The completed project will provide over 23 acres of new, restored or enhanced upland and tidally-influenced habitat with associated buffers. Objective Parcel 88 Combined Habitat Project

14. PORT OF TACOMA Background Parcel 88 Combined Habitat Project Parcel 88 Combined Habitat Project will provide approximately 23 acres of tidally-influenced habitat plus associated buffers. Construction began in June 2010.

As areas of the planned removal work were completed, site sampling determined that additional contaminated materials need to be removed and disposed.
