3 o I am Thelma J. Mc Cowan White o I presently have an Associate Degree in Teaching EDCI -6 and a Bachelor degree in Education. o Desire to obtain Master Degree in Education with a Specialty in Childhood Development. Upon completion of my Master Degree I will work as a Child Life Specialist.

4 Well trained staff able to assist children to meet their developmental needs Excellent health and nutrition practices Safe and adequately supervised environment Respect for cultural differences and cultural uniqueness Parent involvement

5 Create a safe environment -safety checklist -first aid Accident prevention and management -accident reports -emergency plans Health -address present health concerns -prevent illness -observe current health status -recordkeeping

6  Parent involvement -policy making -supportive (educational functions) -classroom aids  Student Benefit

7 I believe education is an important part of every individual lifespan. Education is important because it prepares your for better opportunities in society and enable one to succeed in their goals in life.
