Pacer PACER – Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run. In this test, there is a music playing, there is a beep sound in the soundtrack as well. The students begin running from one side of the field to the other and try to get to the other end before the beep sound. The time between when the beeps steadily decreases requiring the students to run faster gradually over time. In APE, it may be modified depending on the special needs category. If a student fails to make it to the end before the beep, two times they are eliminated.

BMI BMI – Body Mass Index This test is done by taking the height and the weight and dividing them. The result will show if the student is underweight 30. The recommended score is 25 or within that range. It may not be very accurate on athletes

Curl up, Trunk Lift and Push up Curl up – Student lies down with knees slightly bent and performs as many sit up as they can, the maximum is 75. Trunk Lift – Student lies face down and tries to bring their extensor up as much as they can, the tester measures the distance between the floor and the chin. Push up – student lowers the body and pushes up with elbows at a 90degree angle as many times as they can.

Back-saver Sit and Reach In this test a student sits down extending one leg against the testing box while the other one is bent. The student then reaches forward as far as possible, the tester will take the measurements from the ruler on the box to see how far the student can reach. The student then alternates the legs.
