2. Biography I came from St. Michaels Parish Day School. I came to Tucson High because I didn’t want to go to another religious school. I am starting to become an atheist because of my brother and my Dad they are both atheists. I am a vegetarian and I have been one for the past 8 years. I play guitar. I like punk, rock and metal I also like some rap and hip hop songs. I will play Volleyball and maybe Basketball this year. I have played Volleyball, Basketball and Softball in the past. I am the baby of my family. My brother is 16 and goes to City High School he is a junior. My family has 2 pets the first is my cat her name is Angel. I also have dog her name is Carmen. I love hockey my Dad always takes me to the games. We have season tickets for this year. I also love motorcycles. My Dad has a Harley Davidson and an Indepdence motorcycle which he is currently trying to sell. My parents enjoy riding bicycles and their motorcycles. I used to ride bicycles I did the El Tour De Tucson 3 times. I did the 30 miles twice and the 60 miles once.

5. Careers I would like to be a Photographer, Graphic Designer or a Emergency Medical Technician.

6. Career Essay! Once I am out of high school I would like to pursue a career in Graphic design or an emergency medical technician. I would like to be a graphic designer because I want to be able to be artistic in my future job. Also because I would like to be able to take pictures and that could help me in that job situation. I would like to be an emergency medical technician because I would like to be able to help people. Also because I think that I would learn a lot about the medical world. These both involve hands on activities, emergency medical technicians have to use their hands to help injured people and graphic designers have to use their hands to draw pictures for ads. The 2005 annual wage for a graphic designer was 35,820. Emergency medical technicians annual wage was 22,750. Graphic designers have to be a high school graduate, they have to be creative and they have to have a sense of balance and proportion. Emergency medical technicians have to be at least 18 and have a high school diploma or a GED. Also they have to pass a training class and work well under pressure. The working conditions of an E.M.T are that they have to work indoors outdoors and sometimes in very dim places. They also have to be able to work with injured or angry people. They also have to work a 40 hour week sometimes even on weekends. A graphic designer has to work in a very social environment. They have to talk to clients supervisors and their co-workers. They work mostly indoors also they have a set schedule. I think that I would be able to perform in either profession I also think that I would enjoy either one. If I worked in graphic design I would be able to be artistic if I was an E.M.T. I would be able to help people. These are the jobs I plan to pursue.

7. Final Thoughts I think that I would like to be a graphic designer more than my other options I think this because I would still be able to take pictures and I would be able to express my self. Also because I think if I was to change jobs being in that very flexible setting I would be able to adjust to almost any other job. Since I am only in high school my current hobbies, interests, likes, dislikes are always changing so I cant be certain that this is the job I will choose. I believe that later on in life I might still want to do this as a job but for now I cant say that for certain.
