2 Copyright protects the person(s) who wrote the paper, created the song, etc. so no one else can take credit for it.

3 A person or company paying another for continued use of their product or creation.

4 A logo or word(s) purchased by a person or company so it can no longer be used by someone else. (Examples. Pepsi, Apple, Lego, etc.)

5 The Copyright has expired on a certain product, work, etc.

6 It is essentially cheating. Using someone else's work as your own without properly citing the work. (Example. Turning in someone else's essay or story as your own, or a piece of it)

7 Fair Dealing is excused from the Copyright Laws.
