1. Fairchildes Primary School Visit Addington High School to take part in a COOK OFF COMPETITION.... FAIRCHILDES FOOD CHALLENGE!

2. What is the Fairchildes Food Challenge? The Food Challenge was done as part of the DATA (Design Technology Association) and Sainsburys national Active Kids Get Cooking competition. Design Brief: Design and make a tasty, healthy tea-time snack / meal that could be eaten by you and your friends. The children entered posters or power point presentations which were judged. 17 winners were selected to attend the Cook Off at the high school. 4 winners were selected from the two day heats which included an official tasting by Miss Sandell (Head of Fairchildes) and Mrs Phillips. The winning recipe entries and accompanying photos and a DVD of them cooking were sent off to the national competition.
