There is 1 Chief Justice There is 1 Chief Justice –8 Associate Justices (picture on the preceding page) Qualifications: 1)Appointed by the President. 2) Approved by the Senate Supreme Court Justices are given the job FOR LIFE! The only way to get rid of one is: If they commit a crime, If they retire, Or they DIE!
