1. TWO VOICE POEMS

2. Students select a writing topic or the teacher could assign this. It could be two different readings that have a similar theme but from different perspectives. Once the topic is selected, student or student pairs will brainstorm similarities and differences found in the topic Example: Topic is the Old West and two readings are from a) Cattle Drover and b) a Choctaw chief. Students will complete the Two Voice Poem using a Two Voice Poetry form. PROCEDURE
