What is a Class Pass? The Class Pass – also called TAP (Transit Access Pass) - is a reusable electronic farecard that students can just tap on the farebox when they aboard on a Foothill Transit bus. Background This is a Pilot program based on a mutual desire of Mt. SAC and Foothill Transit to increase students’ usage of public transportation to and from the College. Solutions Created a self-service page that requires no knowledge of Banner System to activate the Class Pass. Bookstore was chosen to distribute the Class Pass because it is located at a better location, and may help generate more revenues for the college.
