1 How to sign up for Goodreads Goodreads is NOT an e-reader! The books are not in this app. Goodreads is a “digital bookshelf.” It stores a list of all the books you’ve read, want to read, and are currently reading. It is also a book review site. You can look up books and find out how well they are liked by others, and write reviews yourself. It is also a social networking site where you can share what you are reading and find out what others are reading.
