Self-Esteem Problems **We all experience problems with self-esteem! Someone whose acceptance is important constantly puts you down Listening to negative inner voice Unrealistic expectations Everyone’s ideal image is different Don’t see yourself as having the qualities you admire

Steps to Improving Self-Esteem Stop negative thoughts – focus on positive Aim for accomplishment, not perfection View mistakes as learning opportunities Try new things Recognize what you can change and what you can’t Set goals Take pride in your opinions and ideas Make a contribution Exercise! Have fun!
