Devolved Government Detail Scotland 129 MSPs – members of Scottish Parliament 73 constituencies elect one MSP 8 regions - made up of a number of constituencies - elect 7 MSPs per region Wales 60 AMs – members of Welsh Assembly 40 constituencies elect one AM 5 regions - made up of a number of constituencies - elect 4 AMs per region Northern Ireland 108 MLAs - members of the Legislative Assembly 18 constituencies elect 6 MLAs each 3

Other Elections These Elections run concurrently with the Devolved Government Elections on May 5 th : Police and Crime Commissioners England and Wales – excluding London 41 Police Force areas Mayoral London, Bristol, Liverpool and Salford only Local Government Elections 126 elections in England only. Wales and Scotland deferred to 2017 4

Other information Devolved Government Elections have a higher PR profile than Westminster elections Police and Crime Commissioner, Local and Mayoral elections do not have candidate mail Possible Referendum No date yet – could be June or September…..or next year! Will produce a YES and NO campaign mailing; however no information will be available until a maximum of six weeks before the Referendum when the designated organisation leads have been announced 6
