Hunger in South Sudan Violent conflict in South Sudan has triggered a severe food crisis that threatens one in three people with starvation.

Almost all of South Sudan’s population depend on what they can grow for survival. With their lives disrupted, living in refugee camps far from their farms, they are unable to plant their crops or feed their families. Hunger in South Sudan

Conflict in Syria After three years of escalating violence, nearly half of Syria’s population — 11 million people — are in crisis.
