What? AA new solar system has been discovered by NASA. SStrangely enough, the solar system is much like ours, with a total of seven exoplanets. IIt even includes a planet close to the same mass as Earth.
3
When? On the first Tuesday of September, they discovered HD 10180, the name of the star. It was fascinating to them, because the star is about the same size, age, and heat of our sun.
4
Where? HHD 10180 was discovered 127 light- years away in the southern constellation Hydrus, the male water snake. AAt an observatory in La Silla, Chile.
5
How? IIt was discovered by NASA while using a spectograph to track the solar system for six years. SSpectograph- an instrument to capture and analyze light signatures.
6
Why? Ever since 1995, NASA has been scouting the universe for a habitable planet, to study what life it might have. A total of 402 solar systems have been cataloged since 1995.
7
Why should you care? KKnowing this information, that there might be habitable planets out there, will make some want to colonize these planets, to study what will happen in the future.

Review TThere were seven exoplanets in this solar system. It was in the Hydrus constellation. This discovery shows how fast we’re progressing is science. To make sure you were paying attention, I’m going to ask you a question.

Quick Question WWhat was the picture on slide seven, “Why should you care?” Albert Einstein with an atom floating in his hand.
