To be able to explain what makes bones strong At what age does half of our skeletal mass develop? What vitamins and minerals are important for strong bones? How much time is recommended to be out in the sun each week? What food or drink is important in making bones strong? What can help protect strong bones? Between 11 - 20 Calcium and Vitamin D 5 to 15 minutes- we get vitamin D from the sun Milk- has calcium and vitamin D Exercise (Example – Running, walking….)
