5 Our tour starts from the Tower of London. In a moment you will see how wonderful place be found in the capital of Great Britain.

7 The Tower stands at the point where the Roman City wall reached the River but is outside the present City of London, in Tower Hamlets. The oldest and most celebrated fortress in the country, it has been a royal place, a place for assemblies and treaties, a prison and even a zoo. Today the Tower is one of London's leading tourist attractions and is the treasury of the Crown Jewels.

10 Shakespeare’s Globe was founded by Sam Wanamaker and is dedicated to the experience and international understanding of Shakespeare in performance.

13 British Airways London Eye is the world’s highest observation wheel and offers passengers amazing views of Britain’s capital city. The Eye takes quests on a 30 minute flight, rising to 450 feet above the river Thames, in 32 high tech fully enclosed capsules.

16 Big Ben is the name of the bell weighing 14 tons placed on top of 106 foot tower. It is regarded as a symbol of Britain. This bell hangs on one of the two towers of the London parliament. It was designed by two architects. The first was Charles Barry, and the second - Augustin Pugin. It is made in the neo-Gothic style with ashlar. Today, many people say that Big Ben is the name of the world famous London clock.

19 Buckingham Palace has been the official London residence of Britain’s sovereigns since 1837 and evolved from a town house that was owned, from the beginning of the eighteenth century, by the Dukes of Buckingham.

22 Designed by John Nash as a place for national monuments at the centre is the impressive 43 metre Nelson’s Column, flanked by 4 lions, commemorating the victory over Napoleon in 1805. The National Gallery, the church of St Martin in-the-Fields, South Africa House and Canada House surround the square.

25 Founded 1759 to house collections of Sir Hans Sloane the present building was built in 1823-47 by Sir Robert Smirke in the Greek revival style on the site of Montague House. The magnificent domed reading room by Sidney Smirke dates from 1852-57 has been used as a model for many libraries throughout the world. Displays include the Elgin Marbles, Rosetta Stone and Egyptian Mummies.

28 Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in central London, England and one of the Royal Parks of London. The park is divided in two by the Serpentine. The park is contiguous with Kensington Gardens; although often still assumed to be part of Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens has been technically separate since 1728, when Queen Caroline made a division between the two.
