Current Situation First CAF experience for Ministry of Education and Research. Previously no performance review done. Challenge - how to bring CAF methodology to people (terminology is complicated by complex terms) and to have enough time to agree prior to the assessment. Key Factors: Employee engagement - the process of ensuring a sense of ownership. Presence of management support – relevance of the process.

Results Processes to formulate clear objectives – too often there are processes without objectives. Strengthened links between different processes. Emphasis on the existence of indicators - how to measure achievements? A clearer understanding about the processes, operational purposes, mission and vision. A clearer definition of objectives and measurable results.

For conclusions A critical question - why are we doing what we are doing? Suggestion - to have easier method for a beginners - CAF “light”.
