What is your family like? Each person has a different family and not one family is alike. Some families have both parents, step parents, one parent, only grandparents, aunts, uncles, or a family who is not related by blood at all. Listening is the best way to show respect. The goal is not so much to be loved, as it is to love. By listening, do not prepare your defense. What is the Motive behind our interaction with others? “My idea is better than your idea.” Think of a time where you used defense rather than listening. How could you have improved this situation?

First: Remember that one of the most important things you can do for someone is listen. Second: We cannot be right all the time. Third: Asking for forgiveness is essential! Fourth: You cannot have relationships without time. time

THE AVERAGE DAD SPENDS: OVER A LIFETIME HE SPENDS: 40-50 hours a week working. 50 hours sleeping 5 hours dressing / showering 21 minutes with each child. (3 minutes a day.) 12 years working 25 years asleep 3 years getting dressed 11 days and 16 hours talking with each child

In your group, decide what your family roles are. What is expected of each person? What do you expect from yourself? How would you improve the quality of the group?

What can you do personally in your family to improve the quality of the relationships? How is listening a way to show respect? Can you think of a time when your interaction with someone was driven by a motive? Why is it important to ask for forgiveness? What does T-I-M-E have to do with improving the quality of your relationships?
