2. Objective Case Within a given sentence, objective case pronouns (me, him, her, us, and them) relate to other words in various ways.

She gave the message to him and Mom. They wanted me and Chris to stay. Ask John to tell him and Susan.

4. Objective Case Errors in pronoun case often occur when a pronoun is used in conjunction with another noun. Examples: WRONG: They invited my husband and I for the weekend. RIGHT: They invited my husband and me for the weekend. When the extra words (my husband and) are omitted, the correct choice is easier to select: “They invited me for the weekend.”
