Tiirakari 9 Contracts review On going 1.Restructuring the annual site maintenance contracts, emphasizing improvements in the user friendliness of the site, taking into account safety and environmental aspects, and the evolution of construction norms and legislation in the EU and Switzerland; 1.Designing and creating a site information computer application, which will serve as the basis for the financial and operational management of the works carried out on the CERN sites.

Tiirakari 10 Logistics and Site Services Installation service Green plates -Reminder What are the advantages / disadvantages of having a car registered on consular 431 K XXXX license plates (green plates)? Advantages: you are exempt from paying VAT and/or importation duties the registration certificate is delivered free of charge you do not need "technical evaluation" (contrôle technique) Disadvantages: restrictions concerning driving rights: a vehicle registered on green license plates can only be driven by the member of personnel and/or the members of his/her family who hold the same type of French "carte spéciale".

Tiirakari 13 Logistics and sites services Green Spaces 1.Outside CERN consists of 200 hectares of agricultural land and forest ; 2.Campaign for the felling of poplars for safety reasons and replantation using other trees in compliance with Swiss Law; 3.Partnership developed with Geneva Canton, Ecole de Lullier/Hepia, ONF and local French authorities (Local communes) for an optimised management of the green spaces inside and outside CERN. A new terrace between B39 and B40 to come

Future developments 1.Long Term waiting list; 2.Web booking including shared rooms; 3.Show daily availability of rooms; 4.Develop the collaboration with the “Foyer de Saint Genis”, review the level of service (cleaning, keys, reception, etc…); 5.Continue to promote deals with external hostels; 6.Strengthen the block bookings follow up; 7.Possibility to book a room for the 6 following months; 8.No overbooking Proposals 1.Starting from the 1st of July implement penalty for no show and late cancelled bookings (standard = 48 hours before the stay); 2.Open the hostel parking; 3.Modify the lounges and create new rooms?
