Analysis Meeting Pp500GeV Production – Due to Alpha =0 problem, the production is stopped. Update on the Chi2 calculation A bug in the Chi2 calculation – Fixed: Sigma values for correlation cuts are updated. – Originally one value is used for all correlation cuts. – Now Sigma for B3-B2, B3-B1, B3-B0, B2-B1, B2-B0, B1-B0 is obtained. – Method: dphi_N-dphi_M (dz-dz) histograms for momentum bins Get sigma value by fitting gaussian + pol2 Plot sigma vs pt Fit it with an empirical function. 2012/1/31VTX software meeting7

Memory Leak Problem A big memory leak is found. – Fixed (not commit yet) in the CentralTrackReco. But still big memory leak(s) remains. 2012/1/31VTX software meeting13

Things To Do Remaining issues on the SvxCentralTrackReco – Parameter tuning. – Improve Chi-Square value for track selection (ON GOING) – Bugs newly found. (process was suddenly crashed. It seems somehow memory access error) (ON GOING) /home/phnxbld/new/source/offline/framework/fun4all/Fun4AllServer.C: 573: caught exception thrown during process_event: St9bad_alloc According to GOOGLE, this happens when the memory consumption is “too much ”. – Improve DCA value using the associated cluster information. (Not Yet) – Speed up – Efficiency Study using Simulation (Evaluator) – Developing the method to estimate Random BG. Maki is working on.
