WHAT IS HARDWARE ? Computer hardware is the collection of physical elements that comprise a COMPUTER SYSTEM LIKE A MOUSE, MONITOR, KEYBOARD, SPEAKER MICROPHONE, SYSTEM UNIT, SCREEN MEANS WE CAN TOUCH ALL PHYSICAL ELEMENTS HARD WARE IS VERY IMPORTANT PART OF COMPUTER SYSTEM.

WHAT IS SOFTWARE? COMPUTER SOFTWARE IS A COLLECTION OF COMPUTER PROGRAMME AND RELATED DATA PROVIDE THE INSTRUCTION FOR TELLING A COMPUTER WHAT TO DO AND HOW DO IT. THAT IS SOFTWARE. SOFTWARE IS UNTOUCHABLE.

Types of operating system Batch operating system:- Batch operating system is the operating system which analyzes your i/p and groups them into batches. Batch operating systems could only execute one program at a time. Use :- payroll, statistical analysis. Multi programming operating system:- several programs are run at the same time on a uniprocessor. Time sharing operating system :- is sharing a computer resources among many users by means of mutiprogarmming and multi tasking. Real time system :- A real-time system is one that must process information and produce a response within a specified time
