1. Job offer IT Infrastructure Specialist We are currently looking for an IT infrastructure specialist in order to respond to one key-account customer demand in Dubai. Job purpose To design and configure the company IT infrastructure, which includes maintaining the base platform to run all business applications, office automation services (Email, Internet access, Citrix, etc..), managing Regional WAN, data /voice networks, managing infrastructure according to information security standards and related to the information processes & possessed within IT systems. This role is regional as it has to cover IT infrastructure in Datacenters (Dubai-DC, Riyadh-DC and Disaster Recovery-DC) and branches as well. Mission Your main missions will be: Responsible for the day to day operational effectiveness of Management Information Systems ensuring that systems operate and deliver the requirements expected by their respective business owners Responsible globally for all IT infrastructures, maintaining and monitoring region-wide WAN Design, propose & implement cost effective IT infrastructure solutions, based on the company Infrastructure guidelines and Information Security Standards Work with the company to conduct infrastructure assessment of the company IT, improving its reliability and Security Collaborate closely with IS Manager to define Information Security policies, guidelines based on the company Information Security Standard Work closely with Local IS Manager on Information Security related projects Participate actively to IT risk assessment & penetration testing on annual basis Participate actively to select the right technologies and present scenarios with cost and implementation plans in order to support expansion and evolution of business needs Implementing Systems will require preparation plans and recommend input into action plan Profil Undergraduate Degree – B.Sc. Computer Engineering / Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) / CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is desirable. 3-5 years in a similar environment including Microsoft, CISCO (Router, Switch, Firewall), Checkpoint, Proventia, Juniper, RSA, CITRIX, Ironport. Area of Knowledge: Good technical skills to deal with suppliers Good knowledge of IT infrastructure & Data networks Good knowledge of technologies and suppliers Additional knowledge: Experience of designing secured and scalable IT infrastructure supporting business needs and evolution High level of time management and planning is required to implement the new system requirements High level of stakeholder management is required, in order to determine business needs as well as negotiate down time of IT High level of technical vendor discussion is required at a local level. Required to explain the technical terms, understand new technologies and translate to cover/anticipate business needs The position requires an adaptability to creatively and innovatively find solutions to problem and an excellent written and spoken communication skills.
