3 We created a garden for honeybees at Oregon Ridge Park near the Nature Center. First, we measured an area of about 10x10 for our circular garden. Next, we dug out the grass in the boundary and lined the garden with rocks from the park. Then, we purchased and planted the ultraviolet- colored flowers (they attract bees). Finally, we covered the exposed soil with mulch found at the park and watered the garden about two times a week.

5 The garden provides bees a place to pollinate and reproduce because we chose specific ultra-violet colored perennials that bees are attracted to than others. It can also provide as a safe place for bees to interact in swarms. It provides food as well when pollinating which increases the population rates across the United States. Planting a garden in Oregon Ridge Park makes for a swift and reliable place for the honeybees at Oregon Ridge Park (about 100) to survive.

6 The environmental Action Project was successful in various ways. We have seen swarms of bees near or in the garden that we made, and they have been pollinating successfully. The garden is being watered at least twice a week by either rainfall or a hose at the park. The flowers have grown rapidly and are healthy and alive. From the multiple times we have checked on the garden to mulch it, we have seen a substantial change in the garden and how it has grown.
