2. Council Direction to Noise Review Board  Develop a specific decibel level  Phase in the decibel requirement over a three year period  Review and possibly adjust the permitted sound level every three years

8. Current Title 18 Requirements DAYTIME 7 am to 10 pm   No dB limit   Any muffled leaf blower permitted NIGHTTIME 10 pm to 7 am  Leaf blowers are not permitted to operate on residential property

9. Current Title 18 Requirements DAYTIME 7 am to 10 pm   No dB limit   Any muffled leaf blower permitted NIGHTTIME 10 pm to 7 am  Meet decibel levels in Title 18 (based on zoning)  Example: Commercial to Residential= 55dBA at the property line

10. Requirement After August 1, 2005 DAYTIME 7 am to 7 pm   Must use a leaf blower on the City list   List establishes leaf blowers certified to meet a 65 dBA ANSI standard

11. Requirement After August 1, 2005 NIGHTTIME 7 pm to 7 am  In addition to the daytime standards…  Leaf blowers are not permitted to operate on residential property  Meet decibel levels in Title 18 (based on zoning)
