This man who’s been serenading a culture for a generation.
Then at end he stopped singing and 20K sang to him.

Tears came as I listened. “Wow, he really likes Billy Joel.” Not the reason. 20K who have eternity in their hearts and here’s someone who is articulating longings they haven’t been able to articulate.
-> Many of those same 20K people have had a brush with the gospel or at least church. But how many have connected the gospel with their yearning to be fully human. Who’s fault is that? Not theirs. (It’s the way we’ve cordoned off the gospel into how to be a good Christian instead of a healthy, God-glorifying human being.
