Uses fewer raw materials. Generates less heat than a CRT. Uses less than 2 watts of power when in standby mode. When turned on has a typical power consumption of 57 watts and uses a maximum of 110 Watts. The Dell 2408WFP is also slimmer and need less packaging than a CRT monitor and so saves the environment.
