The practice of Yoga is pretty old. It has been practiced in the East during over 5000 years and is documented in the Veda which is the holy book in India (2000 B.C.).

The precursors of yoga were inspired by the animal movements to create some of their Asanas.

It is defined as ASANA to all comfortable and stable posture. The term means easy and comfortable.

Yoga uses the body to exercise and control the mind, so that the body and the mind can harmonize with the soul.

An asana is a corporal position that remains: In the immovability By long time Without effort With respiratory control With patience With mental control

The postures or “asanas” contribute the breathing, develop the muscular flexibility and relax the body. They must be practiced with slowness in order to obtain an harmonious compensation of the body, the mind and the spirit.

A sanas constitute the main foundation of the discipline of yoga. Also it opens an access to all the psico-physiological stages of yoga.

The variety of positions helps the body can be developed vigorously, the internal organs functions perfectly, and the mind is always alert.

There are positions in which people can get 5 different effects : relaxing energizing vigorating stimulanting Getting better sleep and concentration

There are postures for: Vitality Relaxing PurifiyingRest Energy Mental stregth Agility Rejuvenating Happiness Sensation of lightness

In this practice, muscles are placed in exceptional ways deliberately.

Only in yoga the muscles: Are stretched Systematically It is an ssential feature of asanas.

Asanas are designed to stretch muscle groups more than its elastic limit

Asana it is a pose that gives a gentle stretch through different muscles.

Immobilization and a determined attitude are essential conditions which distinguishe Asanas from other physical activities.

The effect of Asanas is to direct the blood to body parts that are poorly irrigated or highly congested.

It is necessary to avoid muscular efforts that are not indispensable and have a correct mental attitude when you practice Yoga.

Resume the contact with your body everyday, enjoy your flexible walk and acquire force to try precise movements during your yoga session.¡Breathe! Allow your feelings to transform and open your heart for the life.
