2 Learning Objectives After completing this tutorial you will be able to: Sort laundry based on color and type of clothing Select the proper washing temperature and cycle based on clothing color and type Select the proper drying temperature and cycle based on clothing color and type Fold or hang and put clothing away based on clothing type

3 Sorting Laundry Clothing must be washed with like colors. Separate clothing based on the following color criteria: Dark colored laundry Bright colored laundry Whites laundry Clothing also needs to be separated by fabric type. Separate clothing based on the following fabric criteria: Towels & Linens Regular laundry Delicate lanudry

64 Folding, hanging and storing clothes Folding is a skill very dependent on personal preference, so the best thing to do is to ask your spouse. Hanging is mostly for collared shirts, slacks, dresses and anything that is easily wrinkled. Clothes should be stored neatly in drawers of hung in the closet.

75 Summary of Changes based on Survey Feedback 1. Combined slides 69 and 70 into one slide. 2. Combined slides 71 and 72 into one slide. 3. Renamed the presentation to eliminate the word “husband”. This opens the training up to all genders and relationships.
