HOW MUCH WILL IT COST? Hard to know but we can guess Final path location still in design – amount of excavation and retaining wall cannot be known Iron benches $1,000 Bike repair station $2,500 Bricks @$10 Irrigation, landscaping Let’s say $35,000- $40,000 City Engineer confirms that this number is “probably OK”
22
HOW TO RAISE $40,000 We need to be ready to roll before we can know final costs! Some Ideas Memorial bricks and pavers Naming rights, sponsorships T-Shirts, bike raffle Grants (District 5400, GBRF and others) Bike related events Crowdfunding In-Kind Possibilities
23
FOR EXAMPLE Do the math: Each club sells 250 bricks @$30 profit – $7,500 x 3 = $22,500 Each club is awarded $2,500 Rotary District Grant – $7,500 TOTAL - $30,000!
