1. TV Remote As A Wireless Mouse For PC.
Using RC5 Protocol and USB Interfacing.

2. Ideology Behind The Project
Using the TV remote as a wireless mouse for performing various operations.
This can be done by using the RC5 protocol.
The remote buttons can be used to send commands through the USB port to the PC.
The IR transmitter on TV remote send the signals which is captured by the IR receiver and this data is send to the controller and then to the PC after decoding.

4. ALGORITHM FLOWCHART
Steps: 1. Initialize RD0 and RC0 as input pins. 2. Set RC6 pin as UART. 3. Initialize UART. 4. Call 3 full delay of 1.77 m sec. 5. Store the address in mybit received from IR. 6. Send the data one by one to the micro-controller. 7. Decode the data and send the value to the PC from micro-controller. 8. Repeat 3 to 7 while(IR==1). 9.Repeat 2 to 8 continuously.

8. Advantages
a. Low cost. b. Easy to operate. c. Two in one facility (TV, PC mouse) d. Higher range facility than any other wireless mouse. e. Multi function operation in PC. f. Easy to construct and use.

9. LIMITATIONS
The circuit is very much dependent on the sensitivity of IR receiver.
As we used RS232 cable instead of PS2 port, so our mouse is little slow.

10. CONCLUSION
Using this project, there need not be any wire interface between the PC and mouse. Here we can control the PC using TV remote.
Also, we can operate the computer from the distance.
