19 of the 45 staff in the Fire Engineering practice have achieved either undergraduate and/or post graduate qualifications with the University of Leeds For at least the past 5 years we have supported one, and sometimes two MSc work placement modules from the Catchment Dynamics and Management course, many of these placements have resulted in employment within Arup Leeds “Every year I give a lecture to the MSc Project Management course run by the Civil Engineering Dept entitled ‘The Role of the Project Manager’.” Arup sponsored water@leeds Expert Event (one day conference) on the Water Framework Directive in January 2012 Building Successful Strategic Partnerships Research & Innovation Support Conference
