Ephesians 1:3-5 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. 3. W E ARE HOLY ! H OW CAN IT BE ? Colossians 1:22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation.

4. W E ARE DEARLY LOVED ! H OW CAN IT BE ? John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him, shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

5. W E ARE DEARLY LOVED ! H OW CAN IT BE ? Colossians 1:19 -20 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

6. W E ARE DEARLY LOVED ! H OW CAN IT BE ? Yes, it was, because the guilt of the world was finite, but the life of the Son of God was of infinite worth. Was the punishment and death of one life sufficient to remove the guilt of the whole world?

7. S O WHAT NEXT ? We put on the “colours of Christ”!
