I Will: recognize that you are mature students able to make your own decisions. expect you to rise to the standards I have set for your academic achievement. have you so ready for quizzes, essays, tests, SATs, state tests, senior year, and college tell it to you straight. work diligently to make this a class you enjoy.

You will: come to class with a positive attitude. understand that this is a class that will help you out in just about everything else you do. be respectful to me, our classroom, your classmates, and yourself. understand that our class time is just that, time for our class. expect to have fun and learn every day.

Extra Curricular School: List any extra-curricular, school related activities and the approximate number of hours per week dedicated to these activities. 3. Extra Curricular Outside of School: List any extra- curricular, non-school related activities and the approximate number of hours per week dedicated to these activities. 4. Food: What is your favorite food? Be specific.

More Questions: 5. Best Teachers: In a learning sense, who have been some of most helpful, inspiring, provoking people in your life? These people do not have to be professional teachers, just people in your life who taught you something valuable. What about them helped you be successful? 6. Public Speaking: How comfortable are you when it comes to speaking in front of others? 7. Technology: Do you have a computer with internet access at home? 8. Movie: What is your favorite movie? Explain why?

English Strengths/Weaknesses: In regards to English class, what do you feel will be your strengths and what might be your weaknesses? 14. Favorite Story: What is your favorite novel or play? What about a favorite short story? Explain. 15. Unique You: Give me something specific, something different that sets you apart from everyone else in class. Please no answers such as, “My DNA” or “My social security number.” I’ve heard them all.
