o POSITIVE: Subject + have/ has + the verb (3rd column) Past participle. HAVE WITH: HAS WITH: I HE YOU SHE WE IT THEY EXAMPLE : I have just written this letter.

The Present Perfect is used with words and expressions like: Just... Yet... Already... This is the first time... Ever... Never... For... Since... So far... Up to now... Etc... Example: I’ve already told you once that you can’t go to the party!

NEGATIVE: Subject + Haven’t/ Hasn’t + the verb (3rd columm) We change Have/Has for Haven’t/ Hasn’t QUESTION: Have/ Has + subject + the verb (3rd columm) EXAMPLE: Have you written this letter?

o POSITIVE: Subject + Have/Has + been + the verb in gerund (-ing) The difference between the present perfect and the present perfect continuous: - We add been-The verb with -ing

o NEGATIVE: Subject + Haven’t/ Hasn’t + been + the verb in Present Continuous. The negative form is like in the P. Perfect but we add been. o QUESTION: Have/ Has + Subject + been + the verb - ing Ex: Has been raining?
