3. A Dog Park for San Angelo A public dog park ranked #2 in the top facilities to consider providing in the recent Master Plan. We have 2 proposed locations: Lone Wolf Bridge area and Red Arroyo area near College Hills Blvd. Parks and Recreation Advisory Board recommends approval. Costs could range from $50-150,000, depending on location and scope of development. Annual maintenance costs are estimated at $8-10,000. Leasing property to a non-profit for development and maintenance is a possibility.
