Hold off with individual questions until after we have gone over the FRQ as a class, please. Remember the difference between proactive & retroactive interference: "PORN" Proactive: Old memories interfere with new information (PO). Retroactive: New information interferes with old memories (RN ) PROACTIVE OLD, RETROACTIVE NEW

Retrograde amnesia is the loss of memories that formed before a trauma such as brain injury. A person found wandering around in the street, not knowing who he or she is, suffers from retrograde amnesia. By contrast, a nterograde amnesia, H.M.'s type, prevents new memories from being formed a fter a trauma such as brain injury.
