Ligament Tears (Grade I, II, III) Rehab. Depends on the grade of the tear If surgery is not an option, take them through the IMPRESS Model

Meniscus Tear Surgery is usually the case If surgery is not an option, then take them through the IMPRESS Model.

Patella Dislocation A physician “reduces” (puts back in place) the patella Wear immobilization brace for short time IMPRESS Model

Patellar Tendinitis (Jumper’s Knee) Overuse injury Pain is directly on patellar tendon Achy pain Stiff May loosen up during injury but increase in pain as workout prevails

Patellar Tendinitis Increase ROM for Quads & Hamstrings Increase hamstring strength Rest Heat before & Ice after Massage Look at alignment of feet and knees Look at gait and running form (if runner)

Osgood Schlatter’s Rest Increase ROM for Quads & Hamstrings Increase Hamstrings Strength Look at feet and Gait cycle Ice

IT Band Syndrome Stretch Quadriceps and IT band REST Exercises to strengthen medial thigh Heat and Massage Ice after workout Check feet and gait cycle

Knee Rehab. Exercises Heel Slides Quadriceps Sets Leg Raises (4 directions) Single Leg Balance Exercises Cone Touches

Knee Rehab. Exercises Squats – Bosu Squats – Dyna Disc Squats Single Leg Squats Ball Squats Step Downs Lunges & Side Lunges
