2. Introduction My name is simon may and today I will be showing my newspaper and magazine layout design that I have created using the program in design I will show all of the pre production for this task like my inspirations for my magazine and then my finished magazine and newspaper.

3. Inspiration When I was doing my magazine I got some inspiration from other magazines out there such as time magazine and also official playstation magazine because of there simple designs and there clean titles and headlines of there magazines. I also like the professional way the telegraphy is layout with its very slick typography and there clean approach when it comes to there main pages.

4. Magazine cover This is the magazine cover that I have created. The reason why I have chosen this font is because I think it suits the over all style of the poster and suits the style of the film. I also think the times new roman font suits the style of this poster because I think that it suit the over all theme of the movie and it makes it look more professional.

5. Double page spread Here is the double page spread that I have created and as you can see the reason why I place the articles the way I did is because I wanted the information all together and the images to break up the text. I personally think that my articles are a lot easier to read this way because they are also in columns and not just clustered on top of each other.

6. Font For my magazine and newspaper design I wanted to keep the text consistent through out this design. My font is set MinionPro- Regular because I think this is a very professional font to present my magazine and news paper in and it also gets the point across that I am making a serious point. This is another reason why I made some of the headings in red because it sticks out and catches the readers eye. THE REVENANT WINS THE OSCAR THE REVENANT RECIVES CRITICAL ACCLAIM THE DEATH MARCH

Images Here are some of the images that I have included into my two magazine and newspaper designs The reason why I placed the images here is to break up the reputation of all of the articles that I have placed and I also wanted to show off the films cinematography and for my newspaper I wanted to show the devastation that is happening around the world

8. In Conclusion In conclusion I personally think that I did this task very well and I do like my two double page spreads that I have created and I have learned a lot more skills in using a new software which is inndesign.
