4. ASL a true language? YES!!! It has specific grammar rules (does not use the ‘being’ verbs, word order is different than English) It is dynamic…always changing and evolving However, does not have written form, but that’s okay.

5. Manual Alphabet Used for: – Spelling words that do not have a sign – Spelling words for which you do not know the sign – Spelling names of people and places – Brand names, sports’ teams, etc.
