6 Language points shock n. 震动, 冲突, 震惊 It gives us quite a shock to learn that a great many people in the world are suffering from hunger. A great number of people in the world are suffering from hunger, which is a great shock to us.

7 Language points 2. intend v. A. sb. intend to do sth. 打算做某事 What do you intend to do this Sunday? I intended to visit you lat night but it rained.
