3. The book Cliffhanger is about a young boy named Tim, who is send to an adventure holiday camp. There is only one problem! Tim is hopeless at sports of any kind! The book is suitable:  6th grade  Both boys and girls!  Kids differences  How to be a good friend

4. The work:  One or two chapters a week !  we work in grouos - group responsibility.  Lots of new words  Book discussions and other activities.

5. Chapter 1 and 2!  Describe Tim!  His interests  His fears  The others kids  Cuddle toys Activity: Team building Different skills and abilities. Have fun together

6. Chapter 3 and 4  A few questions to discuss!  Things that make you scared.  Who is nice and who is bad in the book?  Nicknames! Can nicknames hurts?  Good friends. What qualities do you look for in a good friend? Activity : Write nice postcards to each other in their group.

7. Chapter 5  Tim solved a problem and became a hero!  How do you think he felt?  How do you feel when your friends cheering at you? Activity ! Every group writes a cheer chant with moves, later they are going to show the other groups their cheer chants.

8. Chapter 6  Was it a good ending of the book? Activity : Write a chapter 7, a short story of next year’s Adventure holiday! Will Tim, Biscuit, Kelly, Giles, Laura and Lesley meet again?
