ISRAMUN 2010 The 21 st century – New Battlefields, New Dilemmas August 16 th – 23 rd, 2010 What is MUN Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about different aspects of diplomacy. The Model UN is an opportunity for the student to acquire the needed tools for an upcoming diplomat and experience the work of the different committees of the United Nations. During the conference, while representing a different country from their country of origin, the participants employ a variety of communication and critical thinking skills in order to represent the policies of their country in the best possible manner.

Founded in 2009, ISRAMUN was established by volunteer students from different faculties of the College of Management academic studies – “ of students – for the students ”. Along side its high academic level, ISRAMUN puts an emphasis on the social aspect of such conference. Understanding the importance of personal relationship and networking abilities, ISRAMUN is offering a variety of social events such as: parties, field trips, cultural events and more.

ISRAMUN 2010 The 21 st century – New Battlefields, New Dilemmas August 16 th – 23 rd, 2010 ISRAMUN 2010 “The 21st Century – New Battlefields, New Dilemmas.” The chosen topic will allow the participants to debate the various aspects of war in today's world; war on terrorism, effects of globalization, reevaluating international laws, the environmental crisis and other relating topics. ISRAMUN 2010 offers its participants the tools necessary to be a successful diplomat with a unique program: "Becoming a Diplomat". The program consists of three main topics: Negotiation and Decision Making. War Ethics. Public Diplomacy. Including Expert speakers in the relative field and experimental workshop.

Jerusalem - a city sacred to the three great monotheistic religions. With its rich historic background and unique spiritual vibe, Jerusalem is at the top of places to visit around the globe. Tel Aviv – “City of Summer”, laying on the shores of the Mediterranean sea, Tel Aviv is the center of Israel's economic and cultural life. With its vibrant nightlife and diverse culture, Tel Aviv is a ‘must visit’ city. Rishon Le Zion - the hosting city of ISRAMUN, at the beautiful campus of The College of Management, located along the Mediterranean sea.

Delegates can register either individually or as a team, Delegates arriving in a team should consist of 10 members and above which will be eligible for a discount in the registration fee.
